BRG’s continues to support SUAS in Brisbane

Nigel will be taking on the important role of Commercial Manager supporting Army Small Unmanned Aerial Systems in their Brisbane office. In this role Nigel will be drawing upon his extensive experience in the Defence Industry to help ensure the best commercial outcomes for the ADF’s capabilities, whilst balancing fair outcomes for our valued Defence Industry partners.

Nigel is a veteran having served in the Australian Army, and has extensive experience in programme management, corporate governance, and commercial management gained from some 30 plus years in the Defence Industry. He holds various qualifications including an MBA from the University of Queensland, where he is also currently studying towards his Master of Laws, and holds a Bachelor of Professional (Military Studies) from the University of Canberra.

Nigel has previously held various senior positions with a number of Primes both in the UK and Australia including an appointment as the Managing Director of L3 Harris Communications Australia, and as the CEO of Australian Maritime Systems Group. His roles in the UK included an appointment as the Head of Programmes and Delivery for BAE System UK, Combat Vehicles.  More recently Nigel has been working as a contractor for Boeing Defence Australia as a Commercial Manager.
